Storing up treasures in Heaven

The way you store up treasure in heaven is by investing in getting people there. ~Rick Warren

What kind of treasures are you seeking in your life? The pursuit of wealth is often a big focus for individuals. It isn’t wrong or sinful to have money, but you need to consider how you are using these resources to life and inspire other people.
The worldly treasures that you accumulate in this life can’t be taken with you after you die. Money, cars, homes, jewelry, and electronics are all things that will fade away after you have passed through this mortal existence. What will you be left with when you are stripped of these worldly items?
The real treasure in life is lifting and serving other people. Encourage others to look to Christ for hope and support in their own lives. When you are an inspiration to others, you will uncover the real treasure that will be held in your heart. These blessings are things that can be carried with you after you die, helping you to have a stronger foundation and hope in God.
